Controlled Contamination Services announces the appointment of Sean Bond as its Chief Executive Officer

Controlled Contamination Services (CCS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Bond as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective September 11th, 2023.  His responsibilities include executing a strategy of focused growth across critical environments, ensuring remarkable partner experiences, providing differentiated service delivery, and building a team and company where people want to work and choose to stay.  For nearly all of Mr. Bond’s technical and management career from the design room to the boardroom, he has been responsible for developing, producing, and supporting mission- and safety-critical systems and environments across the globe, always making a difference to save lives and protect those who protect us.

Before joining CCS, Mr. Bond led the Airborne Division for Elbit America providing real-time holistic situational awareness solutions to military pilots and aviators, and he previously served as CEO and President of HDT Global, the largest expeditionary infrastructure provider to the U.S. Department of Defense. Through 2015, Sean Bond served as CEO and President of ISS North America, one of the largest facility services companies in North America with over 30,000 employees.

Prior to joining ISS in 2010, Mr. Bond served as President of BAE Systems Platform Solutions, a transatlantic commercial and defense avionics, power, and control systems business headquartered in upstate New York. Prior to BAE, Mr. Bond led Bell Helicopter Textron’s $4.9B V-22 Osprey program.

Mr. Bond started his aerospace career at Pratt & Whitney Military Engines developing stealth technologies and was Joint Strike Fighter Program Manager. He earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, where he is a member of the Academy of Distinguished Alumni and studied at the United States Naval Academy. Mr. Bond completed senior executive and business management programs at Oxford University, Wharton School of Business, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Thunderbird’s Garvin School of International Management, and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.

Married with four children, two grandchildren, and two dogs, he is an avid San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys fan, and he enjoys attending live music and sporting events across the country with his family.
